I tried Sertraline (GP recommended for Anxiety) but only lasted a week. I felt very manic on it and also got a weird migraine so another GP told me to stop (although first GP told me to carrr on with it!)  .   I do think as I was anxious already the just knowing I was taking it made me be on 'red alert' for symptoms. Went to a Meno specialist and they said Clonidine for anxiety/flushes but it lowered my BP too much and gave me internal shaking.  It's so hard to separate what is the ' normal' ups and downs of Meno with what impact a drug is having. I guess one should really stick at it and keep a diary. But trying to stick at it whilst holding down a job and family and feeling anxious is extremely hard. Everyone is different so we just have to find out own paths depending on how hard it is to deal with the symptom.
