I saw a lovely nurse at my surgery today and she told me about this website so I thought I would join. I've had quite a lot going on. I'm 51 live in Wiltshire with my 23 year old daughter and our chihuahua. I've had a blood test that shows I'm now peri menopausal. My nurse looked at all the things that have been happening to me health wise and she is certain it's the menopause now kicking in. I've also got an under active thyroid that has now gone out of whack,I've lost a tonne of weight which I didn't need to loose. I've lived with anxiety all my life but it's crazy bad now I also have pretty bad fibromyalgia but hey I'm still smiling and have my sense of humour  . Nurse has advised me to research hrt which I will do. So anyway hi there!

Thyroid is a hormone so it can go out of kilter at peri..  Put thyroid into the search box and see what pops up. Make notes.

My sister has fibromyalgia too,pretty horrible ☹️ The fibromyalgia not my sister 😆 anxiety got a hold of me too but hopefully I'm out the other side now,thanks in part to this website and the lovely caring ladies on here
I'm Wiltshire too AND One of my dogs is a chihuahua 😆

Thankyou for your lovely welcome!   Jaypo your chihuahua is sooo sweet. Mine is a smooth coat same colour as yours. He is called Alfie and he is 8. We did have a pug but we lost her in July which was awful. Xxx

Ours isn't 2 yet and she's a nutcase 😆she  thinks she's a Rottweiler
Sorry about your little pug,it's devastating isn't it😢

Alfie thinks he is a Rottweiler too hates other dogs but he loved tilly as we already had her when we got him. I would love to get another chi but I don't think Alfie would cope xx
