Hi stellajane and Shadyglade.

I do not have any family history of osteoporosis, but I had a scan out of interest. It came back as borderline osteopenia in spine, but they said this was kind of normal re age and nothing to currently worry about. I will have another one in a year or two just to see if there is any difference. X

That's it then Jari exactly what I would have suggested.

Dad was under a Trial in the 1980s regarding osteoporosis.  Never found out why.  Best treatment is brisk walking 10 mins. every day.  Skipping anyone  ;D

Agree CLKD. I think brisk walking is really good for our bone health! :)
