Vagifem week 4....woke up this a.m with stinging and huge irritating rash in butt (sorry to be graphic) crack.  Stinging also in vag.  Obviously I think I'm having a negative reaction.  Anyone else gave rectal problems with Vagifem?

I expect it's probably sensitivity to the fillers or coatings.  Get some vaseline on the area - lots of.  Some find 'ovestin' suits them better, same idea with a 2 week load then as necessary ..........

Thx.  That is my thinking too.  I put some hydrocortisone so crossing fingers.  I am stopping the Vagifem and use the Estragyn.  I want my vagina GONE.

That's a bit harsh but I know what you mean  .  Lather the lotion on thickly and lay, bum up to the air ;-) it's OK - I won't tell

Not with Vagifem but I did experience this as part of VA. I would have thought an allergy to Vagifem should have shown up before now as four weeks is quite a long time. Have you been using any type of panty liner or pad? This can cause what you describe.

No Taz...no panty liners...cotton underwear...the stinging is the worst I have experienced so far.  Is this a flare up?  I don't know how much longer I can deal with this.

I did have an episode of thrush there I remember. Canestan worked. Can you use that?

Hi Taz...just took the oral tablet so crossing fingers.  I am foregoing Vagifem for awhile and see how it goes.  Still going on Estragyn for outside but leaving vag alone.

Fingers crossed it will clear up soon. It is SO uncomfortable.

Thx wonderful ladies.  Birdy, that sounds like what happened to me.    Unfortunately not seeing GP till late August.  I've never had thrush so not sure what symtoms are.  I definately am NOT itchy but I too had the goo from pessary drip and was irritating.  Makes sense.

Hi ladies, I've been on Vagifem for a few years. I was prescribed it due to bladder problems.
I found it really helped at the time but lately the bladder problems have reared their head again and the meno nurse said to up the Vagifem to either everyday or alternate days which I did.
However - my bladder is still feeling irritable and inflamed and I don‘t think the Vagifem is doing anything now.
 Last week I had my bladder scanned to see if it was emptying properly and everything looked fine. It's not sore to wee -  I just feel like I'm constantly swollen and needing to empty my bladder.
Sometimes think the Vagifem is exacerbating it?!?!
Thinking I should stop using it and just use the vaginal lubricant and do pelvic exercises.
Has anyone else got this problem?
Think I need to see the Meno Nurse again. By the way I'm not on HRT. 🙇🏼‍♀️
