« on: May 28, 2019, 12:55:35 PM »

Hello ladies...has anybody ever had a sleep study done?  Anything ever come from it?  I asked my dr for one for all my sleep issues.  Why not I guess...had everything other darn test done  :)

Maybe contact a Sleep Study place [can't think of the word  :-\] and see what they suggest and find out how one gets referred?

Hi CKLD,
Thanks!  I am already referred and I guess I will get hooked up to a bunch of things to check heart, breathing etc and “observe” me as I sleep...I was more or less asking if anybody had one and found it useful.  Hopefully I actually do sleep  ;D

What's the proper name for the place; pretty please  :-\.  I'm fuddled today  :(

Sleep Clinic? will that do?  I would love to be hooked up to see how my sleep patterns are as long as they weren't put up onto UTube  ;)

I think it's called a Sleep Lab.  The hospital has a clinic that has a hotel like room with bathroom.  Looks quite relaxing actually.  They hook you up and monitor to from the other room.  Indeed, hopefully I don't wind up on YouTube drooling ;D

My gosh, I don't think it would work for me.  If I sleep somewhere different I barely sleep at all anyway.

There was a theory years++ ago that the direction of the head of the bed was important.  Our best sleep is in our camper .........
