Because we had to take the pond pump to the shop I was able to indulge my interest in reptiles.  OH those bearded dragon young 'unss, so nosey: all standing against the glass watching us  ;D - about 2" long and all different colours.  The Hermans tortoises were having a bath ..... the snakes were waiting to be fed, the gekos had their lettuce  :D and small crickets.

I don't have room, energy nor commitment to keep dragons but OH I am so tempted  ;D

Our son wanted to a bearded dragon to start with, until we told him you have to feed them live food, so he settled on tortoises!

;D ......... you won't survive the Bomb then  :D - I fed our birds live meal worms they don't seem to mind.

This morning a cricket escaped but I couldn't catch it and the assistant told me they have 100s hopping around.  Good if one of the reptiles gets out in the night, it won't go hungry ;-)

A tortoise sanctuary has said it has received hundreds of phone calls from owners concerned local lockdowns will affect their pets' hibernation.

Each winter about 200 tortoises hibernate at The International Tortoise Association's temperature-controlled facility in Sully, Vale of Glamorgan.

But the charity said about a third of its 500 members live in areas facing restrictions, so were unable to travel.  "These are animals that are in danger," a volunteer said.

I would consider that this organisation are essential so owners should be able to deliver their reptiles to Sully.
