I have been on HRT for the last 2 and 1/2 yrs - sequential HRT as it seems I am still in peri menopause.

I am wondering if stopping HRT and moving to use of a progesterone cream, serenity or similar may be better as I have found little relief on HRT except for stopping my hot flushes.

I am currently on Evorel 50 plus 7 days Utrogestan vaginally, but have tried Evorel sequi, and also Estrogel and Utrogestan 12 days. Have had consultations with Prof Studd's colleagues, and other meno specialists, but haven't found a solution yet.

Without listing numerous problems, I have being experiencing extreme and almost unbearable anxiety, panic attacks, low mood. bloating/digestion/acid reflux issues swollen breasts, weight gain etc - very very heavy bleeds since starting the vaginal utrogestan 2 months ago.. prior to that 2 bleeds per month on evorl sequi - 5 days after starting the conti patch then 2-3 days after going back onto the Evorel 50 patch... so if anyone has any experience of progesterone cream or any comments I would be really grateful to hear them.  I am also on Mirtazapine for the anxiety and insomnia but this is not working.  On meds also for high BP.

Many thanks for any feedback.
