Hope you feel better soon. Try prunes and plenty of water for constipation. You must feel awful, you have my sympathy.

When my bowel is 'slow' then the symptoms of VA are worse because there is pressure on my bladder.

What are you taking for the constipation? Pain relief can cause that

Haven't taken anything .....bought some lactulose but too chicken to take it 😳.....as i work really do not want an explosion there 🤪.....not too keen on prunes but will go and get some prune juice tomorrow......have been eating veg fruit porridge & drinking water by the gallon....will ask doctor for some movacol as have read that it is very mild.....if it goes on too much longer will need dynorod 😳🤣🤣

Yes you want something gentle, especially when you have to work. Like clkd says, it makes the bladder pressure worse. All the best.

How about something gentle like an over-the-counter packet of something, maybe talk to the Phamarcist?

🤣🤣 yep Clkd green not a good colour.....it was the pharmacist that sold me the lactulose 🙄 should of realised it was behind the counter for a reason.....xx
