Is anyone on femoston 2/10?
« on: February 06, 2019, 11:28:45 PM »

Hi all
New to this site on and off since June
Was originally diagnosed with early menopause 3 years ago.
Was firstly prescribed femoston 1/10 then moved to 2/10
The anxiety hit the roof and gynecologist thought perhaps estradot 50 and utrestogan 200mg for 12-14 days ( sorry can't remember which) would help
Anyway had terrible side effects from Progesterone part. Felt very sedated, groggy, weird so after 3 months on it and no improvement decided to return back to femoston 2/10.
Now four months later feeling ok,but my gosh the mood swings are terrible.
Has anyone encountered this please?
Any advice
Gynecologist not into taking bloods as said goes with the symptoms
Just had regular bloods from go and in it he did lh and fsh levels.
Fsh is 10.5 and lh is 20. Any thoughts?

Hi Golden Retriever
I'm not on the sequi I'm on the conti version, and I get mood swings very bad sometimes.
The last 2weeks have been hell for me, really down and depressed, but I've come through it now by upping my femoston by 0.5mg. I've read a lot of posts saying the same thing about the femoston, so maybe it comes with them.
Maybe you need more oestrogen, but I can't advise on yours because it's the sequi one.
All I know is that once I've upped mine I start to feel better.
Sorry I can't be more help, but hopefully someone will come along and give you their experience.....
Wishing you well, .........jd xx

Ps.....I've also had pinkish spotting again, at the same time as my mood dropped, but once I upped my dosage it stopped.......xx

Thank you so much jolly doll for your reply.
I have an appointment tomorrow with the gynecologist for another 120€ to say repeat prescription, it's the menopause and continue as you are going.
In and out in 10 including a scan
Have myself booked into a menopause clinic in 2 weeks and hope that will help
Thank you, xxxwill keep you posted
