Faroe Islands springs to mind?

It's dangerous collecting this eggs etc..  I would never have survived there: don't tolerate eggs unless in  :cupcake:, don't like fish and wouldn't be keen on gannet 'cos they taste of fish  :D

My mom used to try and get me to eat mushrooms.
Being a child, I looked at them and NO WAY.....
It wasn't until I reached 18 that I tried them. ( I think)
And I've never looked back.... ;D all them years of missing out on something that's sooo yummy.. ;D

When I was very small we all sat at the table for supper & I wouldn't eat tomatoes,so my dad said, you'll sit there til you're finished & of they all went through to watch tv,mum, dad & two sisters,my mum kept come through and saying come on,just eat one, hours must've passed and obviously my willpower/stubbornness 😆 was pretty good and eventually my mum came through and ate them for me 😂😆😂 sorted

Never liked mushrooms, smell, taste & texture :sick02:. I know prunes has been discussed in other thread but I was force fed them (dad pinched my nose, Mum shoved spoon of them in my mouth) 'to aid constipation'. Prunes & milk of magnesia :barf:

Foxylady, I sympathise.  With me as a little'un, it was Mum spoon-feeding me Milk of Magnesia & Syrup of Figs!  Dire.  Will leave the missing word to your imagination!

Force feeding is abuse.  Don't get me started on Rose Hip Syrup and Cod Liver Oil  :-X

I fancy foods i.e. cheese for weeks then go off them  :-\ even chocolate.  So I can eat mushrooms on toast for lunch for a few weeks [not every day] then can't face them  :-X
