Hi Droopeydrawers so encouraging to hear your good news. I'm currently waiting to hear if I have the helio bacter. I've had a sore stomach, feeling of lump in my throat and keep having to cough.
I was put on Lansoprozale? but stopped after two weeks because I was awake with a sore stomach it felt like undigested food?!?!
I've been taking Vogels Centurium drops in water but still not right.
Today I bought Silica gel to try - if that doesn't work it will probably be back to the PPI's. 😬
I'm not on HRT, 5 years Post Menopause and I get regular flushes and nightsweats which acerbate the sore stomach.
It will be more straightforward if I have the helio bacter as far as treatment is concerned.
Nice to hear good news for a change. 😉 xx

Hi Carol sorry to hear this but if it's hpylori there's plenty you can do.
Make cabbage water and strain into jug and take instead of tea 3 times daily add a bit of hymalayan pink rock salt it's full if minerals and no bleach like table salt.get some chicken with bone in not breasts and boil up for a good hour or more if you can then either use as drinks or make soup with the stock.it plugs and heals those ulcers the hpylori causes also get a papaya fruit and cut in half long ways.remove the seeds and scoop out the flesh and eat for breakfast twice a week that'll kill off any bacteria and remove any parasites or worms in your system.all of the above can be done when your on the triple therapy it'll really help with tummy pains and nausea.give it a try you've nothing to lose.and use coconut oil if your on the antibiotics it'll help stop any thrush take it internally and use on undercarriage itll really help.good luck Carol let us know your results 😘DD

Thanks Droopeydrawers, do you boil up the cabbage and for how long?

I don't eat meat so not able to do the chicken...but will definitely try the papaya if I can get some.

I was on ppi's because I had a sore stomach and my saliva felt think and my tongue was sore I also have tons of phlegm at the back of my throat. After two weeks on them I woke during the night with a sore stomach and it felt like my food was lying there undigested. So I stopped the tablets and started taking Vogels Centurium drops before meals then I bought Silica Gel and took that too - unfortunately
I think I need to go back on the ppi's. I was told the test for the bacteria takes about ten days to come back so won't find out until next week. If that's what I have are you on the antibiotics for a month?
Also ... which way do you take coconut internally? Cheers, 😉 xx

Hi Carol use the light green cabbage and chop it up wash then boil in salted water for 20 mins.eat the cabbage with your dinner as usual and strain the water from it into a jug then drink hot or cold whenever you can. id do this at least twice daily.u can also use a juicer but I don't like it raw I prefer the boiled version.
The sore tongue is typical of hpylori it causes such bad canker sores and mouth ulcers and seems to effect all the nerve endings in the tongue.i had it bad from end April right through to October when I finally worked out it was hpylori that had reared its head again.since my treatment my furry tongue with open sores and mouth ulcers doesent exist now I can't believe it when I look at it now.no more hoarseness in my voice and throat now or burning mouth syndrome either.its such a damaging bug go on you tube and have a look at David Hompes videos he's very informed about it.youll need at least one week on two different types of antibiotics and 2 weeks on ppis .this is the triple therapy regime and it has a high sucess rate.that's usually enough to knock it on the head.definately get the papaya marks sell them around £2.50 each or asda does a two pack for £2 not quite as nice but will still do the job or if you have a local market try there. You can take a spoonful of coconut oil before bed it's great for bowel transit and knocking thrush on the head because odds are you'll get it if you go on the triple therapy.these are all things that have worked for me so it's up to you if you decide to try them you've nothing to lose really.after you finish the triple therapy try and get back off the ppis
Asap. Substitute with gaviscon extra after a meal it takes time but it does help.im actually eating quite well again as against previously suffering the worst nausea and pain every time I ate.fingers crossed for you 😘DD

Thank you so much for passing on all this information Droopeydrawers it is so helpful.
I'm off out tomorrow to get my cabbage, coconut oil and hopefully papaya.
I live on the West Coast of Scotland not near a city but the nearest town has a Tesco, Aldi and Lidl I know Tesco had Papaya in the summer - not sure about now. 😬
Will let you know when I get my results. 😘
