Actually I slept much better 7 hrs after a 2hrs afternoon nap

No hot flushes today or yesterday

I woke up yesterday 'betters' and today 'better again'

So all good

Preventing oestoporosis I think is a good place to start with the GP - dexa scan here we come

Let us know how you get on.  Point out that it's to give you a base line from which to work ;-).  Pelvis and hips of course.

Uh-oh I'm going to get a bollocking from my GP

Despite me saying no point checking my B12 as I supplement, she put it on the list!! Of course it came back unbelievably high!

Bugger - I was trying to avoid that conversation

In my defense B12 is water soluble and difficult to over dose on but I get the feeling the GP won't feel that way - oops!

Booked a private DEXA scan as DH and my mum decided they didn't want to wait on an NHS list

Monday afternoon and £110!

Over the last 48hrs  I have developed a ripping pain in my groin

Gosh it hurts - standing, sometimes sitting, lying down and getting up from being lying

But not pain when I am static - guess what I'm doing lots of?  Not moving! So much for exercise :(

OK Dexa scan results (I haven't had the official report yet)

Spine T=3 Z=3.3
Hips T=1.4/1.7 Z=1.9/2.2

So I think I am doing pretty well

Was it pelvis and hip area which is the dentist  :-\ denest [sp]  ::) and were you given any dietary advice?

£110.00 sounds about 'right', in the 1970s an NHS pelvis and hips X-ray cost £50.00.  'cost' isn't the word I want  :-\

Just to ensure Vit D and calcium levels are kept up

My D is 111 which is pretty high so maybe I should cut back a little!
& I recently started Calcium

So fingers crossed - they scanned my spine and pelvis

I don't think I need to rush into HRT unless any of new symptoms hit me hard - currently my biggest issues are my CFS which is in meltdown

We were kind of expecting an attack and it explains my exhaustion - my mum noticed first (yesterday) - I go a very odd colour after exersion; we recognise it after 23 years  ::)

So the sleeping in the day AND the sleeping in the night makes more sense

I know how to listen to my body, now I know I have "gone over" - I should have realised before as 4 weeks after surgery and a trip to the GPs (car in either direction & only 20/30 yrds walking = exhaustion and sleep for hours

I may actually recover better as I'll be forced to rest and recuperate slowly and have more realistic expectations

How menopause fits? I'll have to learn
