Just thought I'd let you lovely ladies know this - just in case you don't.

Wherever we live, we are all entitled to see a specialist wherever they are! It's called Right to Book on the NHS. So for those of you that are struggling, get referral from your GP and you are entitled to see whoever and wherever you like. However you will have to go on waiting list. Surely this has to be better than nothing.

Please google if you are unsure. My GP has never told me this but a GP who I had an hour long session with yesterday due to a 2 hour health assessment via work.

Knowledge is power ladies, please pass this on, doesn't have to be meno related either, will cover all types of illness and condition.

This has been so for years but GPs don't push the knowledge as the referral comes out of their Budgets.  However, having read here, how much menopause 'specialists' actually don't know  ..........
