Wind
« on: June 23, 2018, 07:31:43 PM »

Hi everyone.

At the moment AGAIN, I'm suffering really bad bloating,
I've upped my hrt, and think I recall this happening when I first started back onto it
in February, but this time I'm getting it all around my chest and between my shoulder
blades. Never had wind sooo bad. !!!
Can you get trapped wind in those places then? I've never experienced it like this before.!
Sometimes my anxiety kicks in and plays with my mind that it's something ‘more'.
I'm taking ‘windeze' and that does help, but I'm just worried about where I'm getting the
pains, like I've said, never experienced it in those places before.
So, is it normal?.

You are probably getting reflux heartburn. You need to eat smaller amounts regularly, reduce sugar and saturated fat intake. Eat slowly, avoid heavy, rich foods, sit quietly for 10 mins after eating and then take a good walk for 10 minutes to encourage good digestion. Avoid caffiene, fruit juices and reduce alcohol. Drink plenty of water and try peppermint tea.
Chew a couple of Gaviscon after a meal. DG x

Thank you DG.
Yes I have been getting heart burn, and I had a short walk and a ‘run' earlier
with my dog, just to shake things up a little. And I must say it has helped.
I'm not a great eater, and it is erratic, but I'm on the case and trying to sort it.

Thanx again for the advice.....
