Muscle pain
« on: June 16, 2018, 08:29:44 PM »

I'm 57 and trying to lose wt and improve fitness. I'm walking more and do a Pilates/stretching video twice a week. However the muscle pain and tightness is really uncomfortable and I practically seize up when I've been sat for a while! Any help much appreciated

Hi Lollyj. Im the same age as you and in the same situation. Be patient and your muscle pain should improve. I started a similar fitness regime in February and its now a lot easier than it was.Biggest help Ive found is remembering to stretch after each walk or other exercise session. I dont do much - just quad, calf and ankle stretches but it really helps and when I forget, that's when I seize up. Well done for making the changes though ! If you keep at it you'll reap rewards 😊😊😊 xx
