Aching joints
« on: March 19, 2018, 06:37:51 PM »

Hi,
Before using HRT I experienced awful joint aches, even in my fingers. Once I'd been on the HRT for a while this went away.
However for the past couple of weeks my knees and elbows are so stiff and painful when I wake in the morning.
I don't know why it's com back, could this be a vitamin deficiency or hormones?
Thanks

As oestrogen levels drop off so muscles may become lax = aches and pains.

Does over-the-counter pain relief help?

Hi CLKD,
I only use painkillers when I have to, I have a codein allergy so I try to stick to paracetamol. I'm so sensitive to pain relief, they all upset my stomach and even paracetamol makes me sleepy. It's just annoying. I did think about my oestrogen levels, I'm currently using evorel 50.
Thanks
