No just finger ....I am tall with a long vagina 🙄 so it really does take all my gymnastic moves to reach it and hold onto it .

Hi, I've been using an Estring for nearly 2 years no problems, I also use Replens on the outside.  xx

Thanks for the replies, ladies. Although I can feel the edge of the damn thing with an index finger, I just can't hook a finger onto the edge of it. The top of the vagina plus ring seems to flop away out of reach when I try. I tried bearing down while in a squatting position but to no avail. I even fell over on the second attempt!   ::) I'll have another go, but perhaps I'll have to have it removed at the surgery when changeover time comes.

Apart from all that, it's giving good results.

Thanks again, JP x

A late reply here - think Estring is brilliant except yes, you do seem to get problems with thrush perhaps because of it. The last GUM clinic visit I had, they said that you could have too much oestrogen in the vagina, so that the cells produce too much glycogen which is perfect for growing yeast. I am currently on a six-week course of oral anti-thrush treatment so will see what happens after that.
Also - if you can't get it out easily, have you tried squatting in a warm shower?

is this available in the UK?  I've found I can't tolerate Ovestin or Vagifem (swelling that gets very uncomfortable) and wondering if the Estring might be an alternative.
