Their Government is in consultation about charging an extra £2.00 per tourist per night charge as a 'tax' . Well actually. Nope. We put monies into the local areas that we visit: either by paying for a hotel room/food, B&B, Guest House, Camping site ........ we tend to eat in cafes etc., buy post cards and other items .......... we eat breakfast where we stay and other meals when we are hungry. We pay car park charges already. We go to Charity shops for books ........
How will B&B etc. decide who are visitors and who are commercial travellers or people working in the area? I suppose those visitors from abroad/US will be totally unaware anyway but here, in England
