DO NOT have any alcohol. Let the medication DO ITs' WORK! oorther wise you will blame the AD and not the alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant. ADs won't work as well.
It's too early in your new medication regime to even consider altering that you are taking!

Glad you're progressing ,well done you, long may it continue. Mine took a good few weeks before I truly felt better at the beginning but each day was easier.☺
If I was you I wouldn't have a drink just yet awhile,but that's just me !

Thank you dazned, I think I'll wait. I'm just curious do you have a social drink or do you avoid it altogether. At the moment I'm not too bothered either way, but I would like to have a few drinks over the Holidays.

I drank when I was on it. Not a lot but 2-3 and I felt fine.

Thank you littleminnie, I'm not a big drinker but I like a couple at the weekend. Just not sure weather I could or not.

It's just whilst you get settled on it. Perhaps save it for a Christmas tipple .

Thank you Annie and Spakle, just feeling sorry for myself, heart skipping beats, which is a symptom I haven't had for a while. Just took small dose of Xanax so should take the edge off soon. Need to go to chemist and shop, can't keep relying on everyone else to do everything. Only local shops so here goes
