Nor could I - we have a shower which is useful in very hot weather.  To be able to walk from the bedroom into a warm pool for a swim every morning  8)

You could have your own private cordoned off area where no creatures get in, how about that? With a floating table holding lots of cocktails and cake. And a handsome man floating around on a blow up flamingo?

When we bought our first house, in a very built up area, we took a walk around the neighbourhood one evening and discovered that one of the neighbours had a swimming pool in their garden. It was actually their garden, as there was only about a foot on all sides. Not sure we ever had the weather to encourage flamingoes to join them!!

I think that Planning Permission has to be sought if more than a % of garden space is used 4 a pool.

Any1 seen the video of a parachutist landing on a blown up bird ..........  ;D

Wow I’ve never heard of that happening. People tend to have those big round blow up pools now don’t they.

It was a dodgy area. Planners probably wouldn't venture around  ;)

Watch: Skydiver lands on inflatable unicorn

A skydiver demonstrated his precision with a parachute - when he landed perfectly on top of an inflatable unicorn.

Natural water pools take a lot of space: once the area is dug out another space is needed to plant the reeds etc. that will filter the water until it runs clear = swimming.  I need another acre really  ;D
