Yeah, I was expecting something more like the 50p.

Anyone know if machines have stopped taking the old £1 coin? Couldn't get mine to work in Sainsbury's this morning.

Old £5 go out of circulation on 5 May so anyone with one should spend it soon!

Bright and shiny, dated 2016 - we put 2 back into the 'chain' 'cos not many parking machines etc. have been altered to fit  ::)
