I'm nowhere as bad as that Megamind, I usually just lump it as it doesn't take long once I'm inside for it to go but what prompted me to ask is how long last nights took to regain colour and feeling.  I thought during that one and a quarter hours if it was ever going to go back normal ! I've occasionally wondered about Lupus and once again this morning I woke up with redness across my face (cheeks and nose)
I was going out so covered it with BB cream so not sure how long these episodes last for but it happens every couple of weeks, not painful but can be slightly itchy but looking at google images they seem much more severe than what I am getting x

I think that the idea is to keep the wrists warm too to encourage good blood flow.  Many years ago a GP told me to layer my thighs/buttocks when I suffered with chilblains ...........

There are finger-less gloves that have a pull-over bit to make them into gloves.  I HATE fingerless, can't see the point  ::)

Many yonks ago when I was a school girl but worked on the Saturday market fingerless gloves were a must
