Was never a particular fan but he was well loved, lived to a great age and died peacefully.  That is something to be glad about. :)

Yes, I remember him well. He lived a good live and to a good age. I didn't realise how old he was.

He was a big part of my younger years as mum used to listen to the Jimmy Young Show as she did her housework . Every time Ive heard his voice since leaving home 35 years ago Ive been transported back to my childhood home kitchen and the smell of home baking. RIP Jimmy
