"Labour MP Jo Cox is in a critical condition after she was shot in an attack in her constituency near Leeds. "
'critical' usually means unlikely to survive

Such an awful thing to happen. Here's hoping she manages to pull through. Doesn't sound good though.

A 71 year old was attacked too, in Hospital but not Life threatening injuries

Radio news said the attacker shouted 'Britain first's.'
Looks like this damn referendum has claimed a death.

This is so awful. How do people get hold of guns. What with Orlando and now this dreadful event. What a terrible week. I wish we had never been given this referendum.
