Wild Animal Licences for private homes
« on: May 23, 2016, 12:17:06 PM »

BBC News today - Information Act shows how many LA's have issued licences for cobras, servals, zebras, tigers 'at home'.  I can see that the zebra might be useful if one had a large enough freezer ………. but a tiger on the bed  ;D

wild animals ought to be confined to the wild or to conservation projects if endangered.  They do not belong within the confines of private homes  :'(

After I posted this, I read that a small dog had died due to being nosey: it sniffed in a shoe where an adder had curled up …….

Also, 2 lions were shot dead because a man had jumped into an enclosure in a suicide bid  :-\, can't remember the country where this happened.

Aren't there enough non-cared for 'pets' in this country already! and another item springs to mind about the man who pulled a dead albino python from a canal recently  ::)

Ridiculous, wild animals belong in the wild - the clue is in the name.
