That awkward moment when....
« on: May 23, 2016, 11:17:19 PM »

... you're constantly wearing tampons cos you're staying at a friend's house/hotel and you're 30+ days into your cycle thinking, "I'm either not coming on or imma bleed all over this bed!!" (So far they're all blanks. Day 35.winning!!

Oh I remember those days. Nowadays panty liners are much safer.

I used to rely on tena lady mini pads for 'just in case' days.  Less bulky than a towel and more absorbent than a liner  :)

Yep, that too, and I always hated that big bulge in my pants, especially at school on games days  ::)

Don't remind me bj.  ;) Those games days were horrid. There were many "forgotten kits." Except one of our gym teachers accepted no excuses!!! Evil woman!

Oh don't remind me about bulky pads  :-\ ………. and the belief that everyone else knew I was bleeding  :'(.

I didn't stop carrying pads until 5 years after my last bleed, in case  ::)

I could never wear tampons.  So was stuck, literally sometimes, with pads ……….  :sigh:

How do you actually feel Cider?  Are you able to shower/bath as necessary …….

Ha ha, guys.... no worries about taking over the threat - it's not "mine"... the awkward moments are making me laugh.

I hate panty liners of any sort, I just find them very uncomfortable, I have worn tampons since about my second or third period - I was just not having any of those huge blummin' mattresses you used to get that came in a suitcase.

Don'y worry - wearing a tampon "just in case" is not what I normally do - I was just staying a friend's parents house and super paranoid that I would bleed everywhere (even though I have rarely if ever soiled the bed sheets - my periods are just so unpredicatable now).

I feel fine thanks, CKLD.  I just felt like I was due to get my period, and I am now on day 36 of my cycle and no sign, although I still feel like it's about to come.  I get a phantom period every month, usually about a week after my actual period.  Stomach cramps and the lot, but no bleeding. There was some blood when I used the bathroom twice just over a week ago, but tampons were clear.  So I'm not actually sure if that was my period and this is the phantom period, or if it was something else and I am very late or skipping this month or about to have a period or wth is going on!!  LOL.  Exciting times.
