Ideas for a gift for a husband
«

It is our Ruby Wedding this summer. My husband is having me a ruby eternity ring made, it is what he wants to do.
He already wears three rings so another would not be appropriate and I don't have a great deal of my own money anyway.
Any ideas for a ruby wedding gift for him. so far I have thought of a tie pin or pens but neither feels very imaginative. He has enough cuff links.

I love pens and would love the gift of a nice Cross pen. Or a kite!
What about a days racing at a local track? Or if into gardening, an engraved stainless steel trowel or spade or garden bench.
What are his hobbies?

Sorry BJ, I can't help with the gift ideas but wanted to say congratulations!
We celebrated ours last November. Long time to be together and something to be proud of
Oh, how about a rose (Ruby Wedding) my sister bought us one, or a tree, or sunlounger?

Gardening ……….. too late to go to the Chelsea Flower Show
- would he appreciate a trip to Barnsdale where I think that Geoff Hamilton's son does 'tours'? (have a look at the web-site for ideas). Several garden centres do 'evenings' on various topics, I'll get my thinking cap on!

A watch?
I recently ordered a collage of my hubby's favourate moments in pictures, then framed it. Made a great BD surprise!
I usually try to think of something linked to experience as he is very much into trying out things. A ticket for something? Concert, performance, even a plane ticket to a fancy destination ( you can join too)

Depends on your budget. How about a nice watch, you could get it engraved on the back.

Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and ideas. I have decided on cufflinks and ordered some that are set with a small ruby.
