3 good things

In a bid to be more positive I would like to tell you 3 things every day that I have been thankful for today and maybe you will share yours;
a delicious batch of pancakes
lovely work mates
coming home to my warm cosy house

Being able to sit and enjoy the afternoon in coffee shop with friends
My Mindfulness class
chatting to my first love on FB. We've been friends on and off for years but have found more in common recently as he's developed anxiety and depression so it's been nice to be able to offer support.

Taking my lovely nephew out for lunch before he disappears overseas again.

Chatting to my GS after he had run off with his Mummy's phone and seeing life from a 3year olds perspective!

And DH of course!

There's another one here - great to see everyone bursting out with positivity at a miserable time of year :)

For me

Glad I don't live in Syria or other war torn country
Being well fed, warm and healthy
My husband cooking the meal (well he does 4 days out of 7 anyway - but it's still good!!

Beautiful sunny day
A friend thinking of me when she was house tidying and fetching me some plastic tumblers to use at my party
Sitting chatting about books with this wonderful older lady I appear to have befriended in my local coffee shop

Nice surprise for you , Sparkle!

Good MIND counselling session.
Coming home to a big bowl of ragu sauce with salad for dinner. Love it when I get organised enough to pop slow cooker on in morning.
Doing 30 minutes exercise ( albeit in two 15 minute sessions) after months of being too scared to go on treadmill or exercise bike. Having a schedule of exposure stuff that you've committed  to with the CBT therapist is a bit like knowing I've got to see the diabetic nurse - it makes you do stuff out of fear of them so you forget the other fear!!

You must be feeling really pleased Coldethyl!

It was a nice surprise, I almost didn't bother sending off the form!

I am. And now I've caught up with the last series of Endeavour so that's four good things.

It helps having someone to be accountable to other than yourself for some stuff, doesn't it Coldethyl?

I'm grateful for DH, even though I've got up to escape his snoring! He's made me drinks, meals etc while I feel crap and encouraged me not to do anything that I don't feel up to doing.

I'm grateful to my fellow grandmother, who is coming along today to help me look after our grandson, as I'm not feeling too good.

And of course, I'm grateful for my grandchildren, who in my doting opinion are the most wonderful children in the world!  ::)
