Mouth Ulcers

 ;D Looks like I'm the only one on here tonight!  Mouth ulcers have been the bain of my life since going through the menopause my mum still gets them at 78! Anyone else have them?  As if I dont have enough stuff!

Hi Kate

I used to really suffer but now only get the occasional one. Have you tried iglu? It's about the only thing that seems to help, it forms a seel on top so that you can eat and talk whithout so much pain.

Can be a sign of lacking ? zinc ? …….. I get them if I brush the teeth too hard  ::) …….. Bonjela applied often works for me.

Do you use a toothpaste containing sodium lauryl sulphate as that can cause mouth ulcers. Sensodyne Daily Care doesn't contain SLS, so maybe worth a try - it solved the problem for my son after many years of suffering.

Yeah yeah yeah!  Take zinc use aloe Vera toothpaste have to use oraljel to numb them.  Oestrogen definitely starting to make them better! ?
