Reassurance needed
« on: November 10, 2016, 07:29:06 AM »

Hi all, so sorry about this but getting myself into a toss about having a blood test this morning, so worked up. Anxiety kicking in, keep thinking it may cause a heart attack. All this for an everyday blood test to see if probs are menopausal !!!.
How silly   :'(

Hi Clare 11
I know those feelings so well, I am exactly the same every blood test I have. I have no idea why because 2 seconds after it is done I feel totally relaxed and can't believe I get in such a state over it. My husband has to come with me and I even lay down to have it done. Just look forward to how good you will feel after.

Glad I am not the only one. Hate them so much. 35 minutes & hopefully all over and feeling a lot better. Get very light headed.  :)

I get light headed that's why I lie on the bed. The feeling of relief after it is done is wonderful.

Hello Clare.

Not silly at all, hormonal upheaval can do this to any of us!

Hopefully it's all over by now and you can look forward to learning the results and getting some treatment.

Take care.
