Waterproof mascara
« on: October 15, 2020, 08:23:13 AM »

sorry for the vacuous question, but can anyone recommend a really good waterproof mascara.  I seem to remember years ago, that you needed a pneumatic drill to remove waterproof mascara, but all of those which I have tried recently, seem to come off easily (when you dont want it to!).

Thanks

I have the same problem.  The waterproof ones come off.

I think there must have been some new legislation which stops them using the ingredients that used to actually work?

It used to be nigh on impossible to get the stuff off, now it won't stay on!

Thanks LM

If you're going to have a Very Good Cry put the mascara on after?  ;-).  I used Maybelline or Revell products ........ but wouldn't consider mascara these days as I couldn't bear the feel of my eyelashes steamed together  ::)

It’s not for crying clkd!  ;D I keep that sort of stuff to myself.

I’m hoping to get back on and in the water soon.  I like a bit of mascara, makes me look less washed out, I’m very pale naturally

I had a very pale blue as well as an indigo colour - I would put the indigo on the top lashes and the pale blue beneath, now I wonder how I ever found the time  ;D.

When really brave I had a white  :o but have to wonder why  ::) add to that the smeary above lids in various colouring depending on my mood  8)
