Queen Elizabeth II
« on: September 07, 2015, 04:18:42 PM »

All being well, with no sudden disasters, will be celebrating quietly apparently whereas if I had reigned for as long I would be  :bounce: ……. I often wonder how Her Majesty deals with food stuffs when not hungry, or when hormonal did she suffer over-whelming nausea when in Banquets that she wasn't able to wriggle out of?

It is sweet to see Prince Phillip [94  :o ] by her side.  Still an upright citizen quietly in the background giving gentle support.

She has looked lovely over the years, those hats! not something I can carry well at all  ::).  She's 6 months older than my Mum and there is a resemblance!

I have always been a fan of Her Majesty, my only regret that I have never seen her.  Like her or not, her unwavering sense of duty and service deserves our respect.

Wonder what Charlie thinks  ;D......will he ever get a chance and will he be young enough to enjoy it as Her Mag is not going anywhere anytime soon.
I think the only time she will step aside is if anything happens to Philip.

As far as I have read CLKD she always had her own menu to suit her tastes. She  even had it when travelling abroad. But let's face it ...she has medical help on hand 24/7. I think we could all look as good as she does if we had lived her life....ummmm privileged.

Oh and I actually do like the Royal Family  ::)

My Maternal Gt Aunts worked at Sandringham House ……… 'landed' properties with grounds mean that we can enjoy vast open areas of green spaces  ;)

I think her medical care has more to do with it than fields CLKD.

I have spent most of my life surrounded by green but not by doctors.  ;D

Yes and she wants no fuss.  The most famous woman in the worlds shuns all trappings of fame.

It is also the anniversary of her father's death which tempers it for her somewhat.

We can all still be proud of them both though.

Phil the Greek has been admitted to Hospital.  Whilst watching Royal Ascot yesterday I kept muttering 'put tha' hat on Gov.'  ::) - standing outside in that boiler yesterday ....... not good for anyone!

He has been looking very frail recently.

Hope he is ok.

"The Palace" are supposedly 'not concerned'  ::).  Maybe he was already scheduled for a visit and as he's being picky about what events he now goes to ........ he was told to keep the appt.  ;)

They said it was a precaution due to a previous infection.
