Dry scaly patch on scalp
« on: May 21, 2015, 09:19:49 PM »

It's above my ear and about two inches square. It's not itchy and I can't call it dandruff because it's just in the one place.
I thought perhaps I wasn't rinsing my shampoo off properly but I'm not sure.

I tried some Head & Shoulders shampoo but it stung for hours afterwards.

Any idea what I could put on it.

It would have to be at night so I can wash my hair in the morning.

Baby oil maybe, if you have some. Mind you, you'd need to protect your pillow with a towel or something.

A strange side effect of my healthy eating plan has been my elbows - they're as soft as a baby's bum. There were previously dry and scaly and moisturisers rarely helped. My daughter's eczema has been improved no end too, whereas creams only seemed to work as long as she was using them, not a  good idea for steroids.

Has anything changed in your diet at all that you can pinpoint that could have triggered this?

Try some cream or Vaseline regularly?
