Yes it's great that doctors recommend this site and the forum!
Just to clarify that the forum is just the chat side of the site - all the information on the menu on the left is written produced and overseen by Dr Currie a leading gynaecologist who funded the site. The forum is a "patient-led" support group - so whereas doctors could dismiss advice given on here if they felt so inclined (we are all by default not medical, despite our combined accumulated knowledge and experience, and irrespective of training or background), they cannot dismiss any of the information on the left which is a summary of the best scientific and medical information available.
I think I've already given my opinion on your terrible doctor CP but I do hope you manage to find someone who will listen, understand and treat you and your symptoms in the appropriate way that you want.
