Would you go on the Tunnel or by Ferry?

Same anniversary for us in November CLKD - may I borrow your campervan please ;)

No seriously, which aspect is causing you the most anxiety when you think about it?  My hubby is also struggling with the thought of what we might do - he would rather ignore the whole occasion! PN x x

well we proved them all wrong  ;) despite getting married after only 6 months after we met!

What if's are horrible, they can drive us to distraction and stop us doing so many lovely things. At least you will be in your campervan and not some strange hotel you know nothing about. France is lovely and really not too far away.

Do you have coping strategies that will help you?

Which month is your anniversary?

I think we may go back to the artists village we went to last year.

If your not happy with going abroad CLKD then don't. It's your anniversary too and I'm sure you and hubby could come up with other ideas that suit you both. I have stopped trying to please everyone and then I'm just miserable and make myself unwell. It's a holiday for two not for one and misery for the other.
Ok got that off my chest  ;D

That does not make for a happy holiday though.

Have you told hubby how you feel about this.

Not yet.  I found a spa hotel in Derbyshire, a place we love to visit but it's a bit arty farty/New Age for us  ::) …….. so we dismissed that.

Well don't expect him to read your mind. Men are really not good at picking up subtle hints and signs.

I still have Xmas santas.....how do I get rid ?

If you could choose where to go, with no-one influencing you, where would it be?

Would it be in the campervan or not?

All my Christmas hats have gone HB, it happened automatically ( with the help of Emma, no doubt ;) )

We are thinking of Guernsey this year, but struggling to find a suitable package from our neck of the woods. Will have to juggle a bit I think.

Mum flew to Jersey when she was 83.  Her First Passport, her first flight ……. all for a man that wasn't my Dad  :-X ……..

I would LOVE to go to the Italian Lakes and Milan
Camper van and self catering mix
Anxiety won't allow it though  :'(

I stopped expecting Himself to read my mind long ago  ;D  :D

We're thinking about France or Italy in the late spring.   I'd always prefer France, for lots of different reasons, including the language which I love, while Hubby prefers Italy.   Speaking of French, anyone know the 60's song "Mille Colombes", by Mireille Matthieu?    Love it....

Other than that, nothing planned, holiday-wise, unless I call my 4-day London organ course in July a holiday........? (I don't think so!)
