As for the present - we would often do this in our family especially if it's too big/heavy to post - no-one bats an eyelid whatever time we get a present or even if one is owed until the next occasion! Ditto my (grown-up) children with each other It's lovely that they still buy for you and would be sad to think you feel this means you don't want to buy for them
. Parcel post can't be guaranteed at this time of year anyway unless it's Amazon or something. They sent you a birthday card well in good time - and that's great!
My husband never gets anything from his 3 siblings, nor does he buy them anything and can't even remember their exact birthdays! My 3 sibs and I do always remember each others' though!
