« on: December 11, 2014, 06:53:35 PM »

Hi I really want to start Starflower oil but worried about taking it with hrt, as it says on box consult your gp if taking medication and I guess hrt is a medication, Im on Estradot patches and start Ultrogestan next week vaginally this time, also I take asprins sometimes and it says not to take with any blood thiners, and Im a big worrier, but its my birthday 54 today  :)

I'm pretty sure you can take starflower oil with HRT and aspirin.  I've been doing it for many, many years. Omega oils are good to take for all sorts of reasons.
The labels on most things say you need to check with your doctor about any contraindications; aspirin would only be a problem if you were taking it all the time and HRT shouldn't be an issue. Some herbal remedies do need to be taken with care e.g. St John's wort.
Starflower is supposed to be good for balancing hormones and good for the skin.
Happy Birthday.  DG x
