1 person thus far has made a comment about my Autumnal door wreath to which I added a small poppy brooch for this month.  It will come down ready for the C.mas 1 which will be removed on 27th Dec for the New Year wreath - all have hooks in the attic so that I can reach in and choose.

To cheer me up today, I have been looking at M&S online. What does everyone think about family festive pyjamas? Thinking disco santa ones with a dark blue background and everyone wearing them (except the dog) on the Sundays leading up to Christmas 🎄 🎄🎄

I won't write my views on Christmas PJs,  for fear of offending anyone. But hey, go for it. Just don't pick any for me if the forum does a Secret Santa!!!!!

We don't either, at least not to sleep. Although my husband wishes he did when the police came knocking after midnight know Friday night and he had to answer the door in my fluffy dressing gown with pink hearts on 🤣🤣🤣

That's serious enough!  Police wouldn't bother with that around here  >:(.  Professional thieves are getting into vans with jemmies, there might be an incident number handed out.

They arrested, charged and bailed him which I know is rare these days!
He was clearly looking for psychiatric help, had asked neighbours to call 999 for him.  Police wouldn't dispatch a car as there'd been no criminal damage so he lobbed a rock through my windscreen. Police came 🤷‍♂️

Sounds like he needed 999 for an ambulance to get into A&E and not the police.

There weren't any ambulances to come. When he was arrested the police arranged a mental health assessment for him which he refused to co-operate with, then his solicitor advised him to say no comment to everything so they ended up having to release him. I agree, he needed medical help but he then turned it down when he was offered it. As a result he has been charged with a criminal offence and let back on the street. There wasn't enough to section him.

Agree. I doubt there'd have been a bed even if he had cooperated- see my reply above. And now I have a windscreen to pay for.
