We are slowly accumulating new Christmas stuff, dh ordered a lighted snowman, I bought a set of super cute gnome tea towels, and a new ceramic gnome mug for my Christmas morning coffee with Bailey's...or more like my Christmas morning Bailey's with coffee    The lights on the house have not been put up yet, we got new eavestroughs installed in the summer and they are a different shape than the old ones.  The problem is the clips on the lights don't work on the new eaves and dh isn't sure how he will figure how to put up the lights.

Will there be room to put string up and behind and over the troughs to hold the lights?

Not even bought Xmas cards yet bah humbug

I have some left from years ago ........ probably because they aren't suitable for anyone I know  .  Now: who could I send 1 too

No idea, we may have to get brand new clips for the lights.

Me neither,my ordered Xmas cards arrived today,they'll probably sit plonked on the kitchen table for another two weeks

If it's like our kitchen table, they will disappear underneath the next block of post that arrives, plus the books I'm going to read next and the laundry ........

That's energetic.  I did put our outside lights on last night, they are on an 8-hour timer.  They are creamy coloured bulbs with 4 options, the really fast flickery one is OTT!
