I haven't noticed any C.mas adverts.   Adverts these days are way beyond my ken

We have been watching Christmas ads even before Halloween!  Now it's mid-November that's all we see now. Even the children at work have been singing Jingle Bells!

Nope, no snow yet.  It's been cold enough for wet snow but all the nasty weather has been waaaay north of me.  We might get a mix of snow and rain now and then.

Well yes the arctic has snow, but I'm talking near the Ontario-Manitoba border.  That area gets slammed every November.  I'm in the south part of the province, about an hour from the US border, so Lake Ontario really affects our weather.

Seen a few houses with lights up.  People seem to be going earlier this year

Yep.  How many of them are 'green' the rest of the year, like us  .  DH tried our outside lights yesterday ....... they works they does ;-)

That's what gets me clkd,everyone is told NOT to waste electricity but come Xmas the U.K. lights up like the sun

I love it  .  It's not for C.mas though, it's because my birthday is in December 

During the week I was thinking about finding the address book and cards ........ I've got time yet.

We are booked to go away at Christmas. A cottage in Dorset for a week. Just me, hubby & the dog... oh & some wine & spirits, nuts, chocolates, turkey, beer, lager, cider, crisps, nuts, crackers port, sherry. oh & dog food.
