Weird feeling in ear
« on: October 29, 2014, 09:26:37 PM »

Last week I had sudden ringing in my right hear which lasted about 15 minutes, really quite loud. Thought nothing of it until today. I'm at my daughters & head home on Friday by plane. Whilst out & about today, ringing suddenly returned & a weird full feeling in my ear, with dull ache. Tried holding my nose & blowing. Also tried yawning but still there.

I've  had slight ringing in my ears for some years, but nothing which had me running to my GP. Sure hope it doesn't get worse as a result of flight home. Does tinnitus cause a fullness in your ears or is it maybe something else?  Don't think much can be done about tinnitus, but maybe it's something else.

If it doesn't go in a few days then see your GP. I have recurrent outer ear infections. I have been left with slight deafness in the ear and tinnitus. I think if I had had the infection treated sooner then I think things would not have ended up like this.
If you think things are off then get it seen too, don't do what I did. It was really daft
Try chewing gum, if you have gloop in your tubes then it really helps

Gone by this morning. Tip about chewing gum sounds good, will get some especially for flight home.

Wonder if it's connected to my post nasal drip.
