In about a week you may well find you start to get a better nights sleep.  Enjoy. DG x

Oh I hope so! I'm exhausted - I haven't had a night with more than 4 hours sleep (broken) in weeks...

Hmm. First patch started getting loose night before last. I cleaned and dried the skin properly but it just must be me. I hope the next one sticks for longer.

My two eldest are having a great time taking the Mick out of me. Everything is blamed on "mum's menopause".... late for the bus? It's the menopause. Lost something? It's the menopause. Etc. I think Imay have to remind them of the huge benefit next time they have cramps...

Yeahright -Just occurred to me.
Moisturising shower / bath things don't help patches to stick.
For me non creamy things work much better.

What passes for my routine on patch change day is:
Remove old patch.
Rub baby oil onto sticky mark, leave for about 5 mins, rub off, gently  with cotton wool.
Shower - I use simple shower gel on patch days
Cool down and dry thoroughly.
Apply new patch

Make sure you do gloat when your eldest get cramps or PMT    ;)

Hi Yeahrightmorris

Welcome to menopausematters.co.uk from me.
Best of luck with your new hrt patches.
I'll be moving from pills to patches next week, myself, because, unfortunately, I was one of the few unlucky women who don't absorb the pills very well.
