Melatonin far more then helping you to prepare for sleep, I take 1mg nightly and have done for years, I am convinced it has kept me healthy and far less menopause symptoms, it even has an interaction with bone health.

For those who want more scientific papers use google scholar.

Recommend reading his books, he has researched melatonin for the last 40 years.

Hi silverlady
Very interesting link about the 'myths'.  I personally think we are all getting too obsessed about food.
I've known for years I can't eat onions - whenever I do I have terrible indigestion - it's such a shame as I like them :-\
I eat lots of eggs - I found a few websites with great info about eggs - they are a superfood.
I also use quite a lot of frozen vegetable since I was told that they have more nutrition than many fresh veg. Frozen veg are blanched straight after harvesting and frozen quickly so the vitamins are retained - whereas, supposedly, fresh vegetables on the shelves in shops loose their goodness very quickly - how far have they travelled and how long have they been on the shelf???.
