As a recovering anorexic I've eaten what I fancy for years ……..

It's about finding out which spices suit the gut and leave out those that don't.  For a while garlic gave me heartburn but I preserved and now it's not a problem.  Spices are all over India though some are used in various regions, as is the need to be vegetarian due to no cooling available for food stuffs.

We don't use Ghee, I don't like the look of it  ::)

Tonight it's cold chipolata salad as a picnic ;-).

Ooh just seen this after I posted. Do you think it's similar to my dhansak? that's loads of carrots, sliced onions, lean diced lamb, tinned tomatoes and loads of spices.

Very much so PF but minus the tin tomatoes used tomato puree and lamb stock and everything else you used for ingredients I also did my own from  scratch too. Actually did lamb Rogan Josh in the end!!

I hardly know what "not hungry" means  ;D. IVe lost 3 lbs this week and even though I haven't  felt well I've still been eating just a bit less as I've felt a bit nauseous.  We all have good appetites in this house.

Chicken Jalfrezi from The Hairy Dieters book.  Funnily enough , I find I can eat mild curries with no next day repercussions but cant tolerate ice cream or fresh cream !
