Actually didn't eat that much, just a very small portion and some bread. I was a bit scared to be honest, and I've got my side pain back again  :-\

Feel ok , if a bit peckish.

Rather have had a lamb chop to be honest  ::)

recipe says plain flour and baking powder.  My last lot was a bit old, so made with new stock today.. although better (ie not rubber this time) they still did not rise enough.  I put pics up on FB and majority opinion is its in the mixing, I am either doing too much or not enough.  Looking like my visit to my narc Auntie this weekend might be a lesson in cooking, might as well make use of her ;)

I had left over chicken tonight....with salad...AND CHIPS  ;D

Hubby refused so had a pork pie.

It was a very large chicken as son was supposed to come for Sunday dinner.....and he didn't. So there is some left for tomorrow....so we are having my take on paella....chicken and rice with some prawns. Oh and the dog will get the left overs with her biscuits when we are on holiday. She loves the bits no one else will eat, and she is only little so a little goes a long way with her complete biscuit meal.

Next Monday Limpy. Just a Monday to Friday....but I intend to do things on the Monday and Friday otherwise it's very short. I'm trying to convince hubby that the Sealife Centre on Loch Lomondside would be fun....not sure he is convinced.

The dog food will be frozen until we go and she will enjoy every drop  ;D

How to make a chicken feed many.

Roasted with veg.; cold sliced with salad or chips and veg.; chopped and added to rice with frozen veg., i.e. risotto; chopped for curry with rice, home made chutney - that's as far as Wed. - in the mean time, bones are boiled slowly with lots of salt and pepper for soup  ;)

SeaLife Centres are great on wet days  ;D
