Footballer bites ! completely off topic BUT
« on: April 23, 2013, 08:36:01 PM »

I am incensed  :cuss:  - if this had happened in the street would the Police have turned a blind eye?  Football Clubs are Companies and have a duty of care ........... this bloke should be sacked, shipped back to whence he came and never be heard of again  :beat:

Not his first offence either. 3 match ban is nothing. Why he would bite anyone is beyond me.  :-\

Sorry it's just so ridiculous.

It's almost a child like reaction to not getting his own way.

He should be banned from playing professional football completely.  He has offered to donate money to the Hillsborough Fund and I don't think they should accept that either.

When my son was very little he went through a stage of biting.

It really hurt. I tried and tried to get him to stop. In desperation I bit him back. He was so shocked......He never bit anyone again. The politically correct police would be after me these days.

Perhaps the club manager should bite him.

Worked for me.

Of course they could also fire him.

I had not heard anything about it.
It is assault.

That said, look at some of the rugby matches.  Mini fights break out and have to separated.  Even at that, biting is a particular assault action I think.  My crowns would probably come out if I tried it  ;D

I like Honeybun's approach ....... "an eye for an eye"   or in this case "a bite for a bite".

Actually I must admit I did the same to a child I was nannying for once. He used to bite and draw blood and nothing would stop him doing it. He never did it again though once I showed him how much he was hurting people.
An adult though should know better. :(

The Police could take action.  This is common assault in front of the World.

On a slightly different tack - I was bitten by a very small ladybird yesterday OUCH  :o

Yep.  In the Very Hot Summer of 1976 a lot of people were bitten, ladybirds were blown into the UK from the Continent and were hungry on arrival  ;D: I have also been bitten by a spider in the garden - several years ago ..........

My sister used to bite me.  In temper.  I had a rash on the back of my neck one Summer and she bit me right there, Mum never believed that she would do such a thing but this incident my Dad witnessed: I have never seen him so cross with their Blue Eyed Girl  :D

His biting has now got him a 10 match ban apparently, which means he won't be able to play for the rest of the season. Maybe some anger management would help him.
