Thanks Ariadne - yes I knew but didn't watch - too busy rushing around as usual. I hope it went well! He's such a great guy.  He did wake me up this morning though - well, to be fair, it wasn't actually him but his latest single being played on Radio 1!  A bit of life story here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vbDpQ8iPuI

I didn't have time to hear him play at the end of the program but he came across as a lovely guy. He said his mum was going to kill him when she spotted his new knuckle tattoos.

She's a brilliant mum. When he played Wembley Arena last April - sell out show - he got her up on stage to play the harmonica. He didn't warn her before hand! Cool lady in front of around 12,000 people!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv33WT8JAVE.

Forgot to update... album charted at No.2! Couldn't shift Michael Buble unfortunately but one better than Will.I.Am!! Frank is amazed and thinks the world has gone mad.

I am sure he would be fine with flowers. Not sure what next. His Dad should be so proud.  Perhaps he is tripping over his own ego and is jealous of his extremely talented son.  Also a son who is a very compassionate human being.
