Hi
Yes, I'm a little more relieved now that I've seen the consultant. It will be an ultrasound scan next week and I see his straight afterwards to discuss results of both that and the mommogram so hopefully will know more on the day.
Thanks.

Jellyb, I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry... it's all out of your hands now and you've done absolutely the best thing. Ultrasounds are straightforward so nothing to worry about there. I think the waiting is the worst part of it! I will keep everything crossed for you

Hi Ladies
Just a final update. I had my scan yesterday and all is fine. I have a few small cysts in each breast but nothing to be concerned about.
So relieved. Thanks for all your support and good wishes.

Well Done Jellyb and anyone else out there going through the same dilema. I know exactly how you are feeling as I too have cysts in both breasts and as I'm on Estrogen only HRT, have a mamo and echograph every year to make sure they are not changing shape or density. To date all is well. Continue getting checked out although it can be a little harrowing - we will always wonder "what if" ..... we are human.
Be positive and get on with life.
