We don't have a Poundland shop unfortunately, ive seen sherbet fountains but not the dip dabs with the red lolly

We have dipdabs in our local newspaper shop and in our sainsburys.

If you google old fashioned sweets you will find that most of these are available to buy online  -  even Caramac!

Eww - caramac - I have bad memories of eating far too much of that stuff in one go (insert little green-faced 'smiley' here!!) .... haven't been able to eat it since!

I remember thos easter eggs Rosalie, they looked great...what about those Liquorice packs with the pipe and the catherine wheel etc? Yummy!

But does anyone remember Gypsy Creams biscuits - god I loved them!  wrapped in cellophane and then in a rectangular brown cardboard box!

Used to eat them till I felt sick.

You can still get Jublies, Susan, I used to love the firewater flavoured ones( goodness knows what that was!) But they are very small now. The ones we used to get were enormous.
