It got warm for a couple of days and sunny but not what I call hot....shame :(

Dull, damp, humid, but better than yesterday when lightning strike tripped our electrics & busted the router-modem box  :o.  So no internet access for me or remote working for OH, until he drove into town to buy a new router a few hours later, after ISP helpline couldn't come up with any explanation for why we'd lost access.  Luckily OH is IT savvy & worked out what the likely problem was.  £70 for a new box I hadn't budgeted for when doing the next month's spreadsheet on my laptop at the time the lightning struck.  What is it they say - life is what happens while you're busy making other plans?!
